BOLINGBROOK, Illinois – Bolingbrook police said the man who opened fire on WeatherTech on Saturday morning, killing one person and injuring two others, was a temporary officer named Charles McKnight.

Bollingbrook police responded to a call to the office near WeatherTech on Saturday morning.
Police have identified the dead man as Central Hightower, 37, of Plainfield.
Bollingbrook police said they were called to WeatherTech at 6:25 a.m. and found three people shot. Suspect McKnight had taken off.

Police said colleagues said McKnight was working at night and was facing colleagues after taking a watch and wallet from two of them at gunpoint. They quarreled and police said McKnight pulled out a gun and shot three of them.
McKnight was arrested a few hours later. Police said he was in a temporary employment agency and was hired by WeatherTech on June 9th.
Other victims included a 25-year-old man in critical condition and a 43-year-old man who was treated and released.
McKnight is from Chicago, police said. He is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree attempted murder.
