Porsche has something special for its American fans.
The 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America is a limited edition model celebrating the 70th anniversary of the 1953 Roadster 356 America.
The original was specially designed for the American market by order of the famous importer Max Hoffman, with a lightweight aluminum body, spartan interior and available parts with the highest performance, which include a four-cylinder boxer engine with 70 hp.
It wasn’t a big hit at the time and only 17 were produced, but today they cost over $ 4 million as collector’s cars.

The new model is painted in Azure Blue 356, which is a hereditary color based on the one offered on the 356.

The 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America starts at $ 186,370, but has been successful. Porsche is building only 100 for the United States and another 15 for Canada, even if it doesn’t exactly match the flag there.
