Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will swing through the Okanagan today.
Trudeau will meet with the agriculture sector and visit a children’s day camp.
He is not thought to be making any major statements, with his appearances being described in the media as photo opportunities.
It is the prime minister’s first public visit to Kelowna since 2017, when the Kelowna-Lake Country riding was held by Liberal Stephen Fuhr. He also appeared at the 2018 British Columbia Day celebrations in Penticton.
