Priyanka Chopra, daughter of Nick Jonas, “still tiny”, “catches up every day”, says an insider
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas officially begin their parenting journey after their daughter Malti Marie returns home.
The baby, whom the couple welcomed through a surrogate mother in January, reunited with her parents after spending 100 days at NICU.
A source close to the couple called it “the perfect gift for Mother’s Day.”
The insider added that both Nick and Priyanka were “excited” that their little girl had finally returned with them.
“Their daughter is doing well,” said an insider at PEOPLE. “She’s still tiny, but she’s catching up every day. They both just want to hold her and hold her. They’re already great parents.”
On Mother’s Day, Priyanka turned to her Instagram to share a heartfelt post about baby MM.
“On Mother’s Day, we can’t help but reflect on these last few months, and the train we’ve been on that we know now, so many people have survived. After more than 100 days at NICU, our little girl is finally home.
“Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a few challenging months, what becomes very clear in retrospect is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are very happy that our little girl is finally home, and I just want to thank everyone
“Our next chapter starts now and our baby is really a bastard. Let’s face it, MM! Mom and Dad love you,” Priyanka exploded.
