The Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Color) – Thursday, June 2
More than 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians will gather on June 2nd. You can watch the parade from 10 a.m. as you drive from Buckingham Palace down the mall to the Horse Guards Parade, which is joined by members of the royal family on horseback and in carriages. The parade will end with the traditional passage of the RAF, watched by the Queen and members of the royal family from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. If you can’t get there in person, it will be broadcast on BBC One. The Royal Air Force overflight takes place at 13:00 and can be watched by The Mall.
Members of the royal family join in the big lunches
Members of the royal family must share friendships, food and entertainment at special lunches to celebrate the Queen’s 70th anniversary.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will meet with guests at a feast at The Oval Cricket Ground in south London, while the Earl and Countess of Wessex will join members of the local Windsor community.
Platinum pudding, Scotch eggs and fruit plates will be presented on a six-meter felt creation by artist Lucy Sparrow, which will be seen by Charles and Camilla in The Oval.
The royal couple will also present the platinum champions with certificates and pins before cutting the cake for a big anniversary dinner.

Platinum Jubilee Competition – Sunday, June 5
Sunday’s competition will combine street art, theater, music, circus, carnival and costumes. The ambitious £ 15 million competition is divided into four actions: For the Queen and the country with a military parade; The time of our lives, passing through seven decades of culture, music and fashion; To celebrate, telling the story of the queen’s life in 12 chapters with corgi dolls and carnival creations; and the musical show Happy and Glorious.
An important part of the competition is the River of Hope procession, where high school students from across the UK will carry up 200 silk flags representing works of art by children of their hopes and aspirations for the planet over the next 70 years.
The effect is designed to mimic a moving river.
