Two years after announcing his resignation, Rachel Bilson is talking about her relationship with actor Bill Hader for the first time. During an episode of her Broad Ideas podcast, Bilson admitted to guest Aubrey Plaza that she had a romantic affair with Hader. “We went out. I went to the Golden Globe. [with him]”She told Plaza, who had no idea they were a couple.
Rumors of a meeting between Hader and Bilson originally began in late 2019, after they were spotted at a coffee meeting at a local Starbucks in the hometown of comedian Tulsa, Oklahoma. A few months later, they debuted on the red carpet of the Golden Globe in 2020, but disbanded by July. A source at the time said Rachel was “devastated” by the separation, and she seemingly confirmed that feeling in the podcast.
The OC graduate explained that she could not leave [her] house “and” there’s nothing to do but sit in it, deal with it and feel it “because of the coronavirus pandemic. Without explicitly calling Hayder by name, Bilson revealed that the separation between them” hurts like a mother’s , “He added,” This was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Harder than birth. … If you really run into this, you can get out of it and say, “Okay, I did this and I’m ready for the next thing.”

After their separation, both Hader and Bilson continued with new people. Hader has reportedly been dating Anna Kendrick for more than a year, while Bilson is now in a relationship with actor and director Zack LaRock, with whom he has been seeing since October 2021.
