Capcom has unveiled a DLC for the history of Resident Evil Village, Shadows of Rose.
This story contains spoilers for Resident Evil Village.
The DLC expansion will be followed by Rose, the daughter of the game’s protagonist Ethan Winters. Unlike the main game, it will be held from a third party perspective.
As annoyed by the scene after the game’s credits, Rose is now a teenager and is helping Chris Redfield in some ways. Given that we got a joke that Eaton is still alive at the end of the game, we can assume that he will take the story into account in some way.
Perhaps most interestingly, the DLC will be held in a third party, which is the first time a new, basic game Resident Evil has used the outlook after Resident Evil 6. The DLC will be available on October 28.
Resident Evil Village Shadows of Rose – Capcom Showcase 2022
Last year, we awarded Resident Evil Village an 8/10 rating, calling it “a truly fascinating and increasingly difficult-to-fight sequel to Ethan Winters.” Its events seem increasingly central to the Resident Evil universe as well, given that Resident Evil 4 Remake may add new links to the newer game.
