Fire behavior is beginning to decrease, approximately 40 acres currently. Firefighters are making good progress. PCSO deputies are assisting CAL FIRE NEU, they have ordered mandatory evacuations throughout Andresen, Rolling Hills and Meadowlark. Please note the warning.
July 17, 2022 at 1:12 pm Units on scene are securing structure defenses and construction lines. The fire is still burning at a moderate to rapid rate of spread in grass and oak woodlands. Helicopters and tankers are fighting the fire with multiple ground resources.

Riosa Road to Thousand Oaks Road is under evacuation. IC requires 5 additional engines, priority. All incoming resources to report to Riosa and Andressen Road.

Two tankers, two helicopters assigned to Rioza fire. IC reports 1/2 acre of vegetation and now fully incorporated structure. A civilian needs an ambulance. Riosa Road to be closed in both directions.

Riosa IC reported one structure comprising approximately 1/4 acre of vegetation. The PCSO is at the scene helping to evacuate nearby homes.
