Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Vivienne is aware that her childhood was not “normal”.
Vivienne explained that her upbringing wasn’t necessarily “normal” after sharing a story from her childhood in a TikTok series she titled Talk Time with Vivi.
In the original TikTok, Vivienne revealed that she spent time visiting a woman named “Mo.” It wasn’t until Vivienne was 12 that she was told the woman was pop icon Madonna.
“On my birthdays, this beautiful woman would always come and I was like, ‘Yeah, there’s Mo,'” she said. “I never had a clue who the hell she was. … Then I realized it had been Madonna all these years.”
One fan commented on the story saying, “I LOVE that @Rosie_ODonnell kept things relatively normal as possible! You are the cutest! Haha.’

Vivienne responded to the comment with a new TikTok video in which she clarified that her childhood was not “normal”.
“Interesting but not normal,” she captioned the video.
“I love all these comments about how Rosie has kept my life ‘normal,'” Vivienne added in the video. “No offense mom, that never happened. She just doesn’t really inform us of anything. I think it was more because once I found out, she’d be like, “Vivy, come on, you Know this. Like you know that.'”
Rosie O’Donnell responded with her own TikTok video.

She added: “She’s done so much for me and I’m so incredibly, incredibly grateful for her, but one thing she hasn’t done is be normal.”
O’Donnell responded in his own video, jokingly threatening to reveal some secrets about Vivienne.
“Vivy, what do you mean I didn’t do anything normal? I did normal things,” she said. “I am normal. I’m perfectly normal. God, Viv. I’ll tell you some secrets about you!’

Vivienne is the daughter of Rosie O’Donnell and Kelly Carpenter.
O’Donnell shares custody of Vivienne with his ex-wife Kelly Carpenter.
The former couple also share three other children, Parker, Blake and Chelsea.
