Ryan Fitzpatrick sends a message of obvious retirement to his teammates

Longtime NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick seems to be retiring.

Although Fitzpatrick did not make an official announcement, he sent a message to his teammates with a very long list of names of players he had played with, along with the words “Thank you forever for the magical journey.”

Fred Jackson, one of the teammates who received the text, posted it on Twitter with his own message of thanks to Fitzpatrick.

“Congratulations on the career of Helluva, Fizi !! I loved sharing the box with you !! Thanksgiving is all mine !! ” Jackson wrote.

Fitzpatrick started quarterback games for a remarkable nine different NFL teams: 53 starts for the Bills, 27 for the Jets, 20 for the Dolphins, 12 for the Dolphins, 12 for the Bengals, 12 for Texas, 10 for the Buccaneers, nine for the Titans, three for the Rams and one for Washington.

Fitzpatrick, 39, ended his NFL career with 34,990 passes, 223 touchdowns and 169 interceptions.
