Rylan Clarke and Declan Doyle were snapped kissing each other on a night out last month – with the EOTB star discussing the romance on GB News just weeks ago.
But TV presenter Rylan, 33, took to Instagram on Friday to insist he was never in a relationship with Declan, 32, despite sources claiming they recently split.
He wrote: “I tried to ignore it but that’s not good. Over the past few weeks there have been stories regarding my “relationship”.

“I stayed away, I ignored it, but this is absurd. I’m not in a relationship, haven’t been in over a year and don’t intend to.

Along with this, he shared a comment from his PR agency, which read: “In light of the recent fabricated stories, neither we nor Rylan wish to comment on his personal life.

“However, in this case, we think we should. There is absolutely no truth to this story or the many other stories that have been circulating about this apparent “relationship” over the past few weeks.
“Rylan is a bachelor and lives alone. All reports to the contrary are completely fabricated, @carverpr_.’
Following the former X Factor contestant’s post, Declan’s PR wrote on Instagram via his account: “Based on a series of unfortunate events and the recent false allegations that have been made against our client.

Speaking: He wrote: “I tried to ignore it but it’s not good. Over the last few weeks there have been stories about my ‘relationship’
“We would like to clarify that we do not normally feel it necessary to comment publicly on our clients [sic] his personal life or relationship status.
“Declan is single and happy and has been for a while. He’s in a really good place right now with a support network around him.
“We aim to clear things up for those who are confused and those who insist on creating false stories.”
Declan told GB News earlier this month that they were indeed seeing each other after pictures of them kissing on a night out were published.

The reality star told host Mark Dolan: “We’re just dating, it’s been a few dates – we really get on.”
He claimed the pair met “at an event a while ago” before joking that he was the more famous of the two.
“It’s just weird talking about it, it’s only been a few dates, it’s really early, we’re enjoying each other’s company, but it’s going well.”

Mark explained that he met Rylan at the TRIC Awards and thought he had “never looked happier”, prompting Declan to smile and say they were both “very happy”.
A source told MailOnline on Friday that Rylan and Declan’s relationship had ‘failed’, with Rylan sharing a heartbreaking tweet earlier in the day that he was feeling ‘hurt’.
A source said of the MTV star: “He’s really enjoying the single life, but he’s also having a great time getting to know TOWIE’s Junaid Ahmed.
“After all, Declan is an Essex lad and met Junaid through cast members Danny Imbert, James Locke and Ella Rae Wise at a party last Christmas.”

The insider went on to tease that Declan’s burgeoning courtship with Junaid could feature on the ITVBe show, adding that negotiations are currently in the “early stages”.

MailOnline was told earlier in July that Rylan had invited his mum Linda, 69, to a special barbecue, which Declan had also thrown, so his own parents and siblings could meet the new man in his life.
Although things between the pair “seemed pretty serious”, the couple first had to work through some “strain” in their romance after the secret was revealed when they were filmed kissing.

“They were trying to avoid any exposure by going in and out of restaurants separately on their dates and were shocked when they were caught on this occasion.
“At the moment they’re seeing where things go, but it looks pretty serious and they’re both very hopeful for the future.”

Rylan’s representatives were contacted by MailOnline at the time, but Declan declined to comment.
The alleged relationship is said to have started in April after the pair were spotted dining at Roka in Canary Wharf.
They were later seen flirting outside a restaurant in Marylebone with Rylan holding a glass of red wine during a cigarette break.

Declan previously dated Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry, with the pair splitting in April 2022 after realizing they were “no longer compatible”.

The couple are believed to have split over differences over having children and Dan’s ambitions for a TV career.
However, Rylan publicly blamed himself for the breakup of the marriage. Rylan was stepfather to Dan’s son, Cameron, from a previous relationship, but was open about wanting children of his own.
