Sadio Mane is ready to confirm his desire to leave Liverpool during the summer transfer window, and the club is expected to attract a replacement before he leaves.
Before the Champions League final, Manet explained that he would reveal his plans for the future after the clash with Real Madrid in Paris.
“Come back to me on Saturday and I will certainly give you the best answer you want to hear,” he said. “It’s special. Then I’ll give you everything you want to hear.”
Number 10 played the full 90 minutes when Liverpool lost 1-0, coming close with an opportunity in the first half aimed at the crossbar by Thibaut Courtois.
Manet then returned to the team’s hotel and will be part of the Redside trophy parade in Merseyside on Sunday after playing a key role in winning a double for the FA Cup and League Cup.
But according to Goal’s Neil Jones, the 30-year-old will surrender his intention to leave Anfield this summer, with Bayern Munich as his most likely destination.

There have been constant reports of interest from Bayern in Germany, with earlier allegations that their sporting director Hassan Salihamidzic met with Manet’s agent earlier this month.
Although they were dismissed by sources in Liverpool, it certainly seemed so.
Jones claims that the price for Manet, who has only one year left from the contract, will be significantly higher than the advertised 30 million euros (25.5 million pounds).

And most importantly, Jones emphasizes that the club “would like to have an orderly replacement before selling.”
Although Liverpool are not obliged to sanction Manet’s sale this summer – and certainly will not do so for a low fee – there is a feeling that Jurgen Klopp will not stand in his way if he wants to leave.
“This is the wrong time to talk about it,” the manager said when asked about Manet’s future before the final.
“Wherever Sadio plays next season, he will definitely be a great player!”
It remains to be seen who Liverpool would turn to if Manet moves forward, although it seems unlikely that Usman Dembele from Barcelona, linked in a Spanish edition Sports this weekend will be a candidate.
