The new and fresh episode of Karan Johar’s much loved talk show Coffee with Karan launched on Disney+Hotstar on Thursday. guests? Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were on the famous ‘coffee couch’ where celebrities make shocking revelations and talk about their love lives. While Sara and Janhvi, who now share a great bond, entertained the audience with anecdotes about their travels, their exes and their latest crush Vijay Deverakonda (more on that later), they also shared what their respective families think of their professional projects.
Sara Ali Khan, who is Saif Ali Khan’s daughter with his ex-wife Amrita Singh, revealed that Saif “likes” her films as long as they are not remakes of his films. When Karan asked Sara if he is “yet to like any of your films,” she replied, “As long as I don’t remake his films, he likes my films. I think we’re good there” and burst out laughing. So far Sara has only appeared in one film which is a sequel/remake of her father’s films Sara Ali Khan who made her Coffee with Karan debuted with her father in November 2018, also revealed that the one who takes all the major decisions in the house is her mother Amrita Singh and that she has never felt the absence of Saif Ali Khan in her life since the breakup like he always “just a call away.”

Sara Ali Khan made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath in 2018. In the same year, her film with Ranveer Singh titled Simba was released in theaters and was a hit. Her third film is a sequel to the 2009 Imtiaz Ali directorial I love Aaj Kal, starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. She was then paired opposite Varun Dhawan Tower number 1.
Sara’s last film was Atrangi Re along with Akshay Kumar and south star Dhanush.
