If you want to take a closer look at the customization options that await you before the release of Saints Row this August, you’re in luck. Today Volition unveiled its free download Saints Row: Boss Factory.
As you may have guessed, Boss Factory offers you the opportunity to really immerse yourself in the creator of the game’s characters and create your own boss (or Bosses plural, as you can really save up to six of them) and then prepare them for work for the full edition of Saints Row.
You will have access to all the options for customizing the Boss of the game, as well as special elements locked in the progression (so, yes, you can play with these modest emojis, enough).
Welcome to the eclectic Saints Row Boss Factory.
In addition, anyone who decides to download Boss Factory and then continue to save and share a boss will automatically receive two exclusive DJ Helmets in the full Saints Row game. That is, as long as everything is done through the same account in the platform.

So how exactly does one share a boss?
Well, all this is done thanks to a seven-character sharing code that is generated with each boss you create. This code can be given to anyone you want to share it with, and then they can swirl with your creation in their own Saints Row gameplay. In addition to this code, each creator will have their own screen name, which will be displayed next to their bosses, so you can search for a specific person if you wish.
Just as general information, the above code and screen name can be shared between platforms. So, if the boss is created on the Xbox Series X, the sharing code can be used to create a boss on another platform like PS5 or PC and vice versa.
In addition, community members will also be able to vote for Boss Factory character designs, and those who sign up for a Saints Row account through the Boss Factory Center will receive the exclusive Marshall Rocket Launcher, unlocked and ready to use in the full game .

I tried Boss Factory myself and created my own attitude towards Queen frontman Freddie Mercury (with a lot of artistic license and a general lack of skills, so don’t judge me).
My experience of Freddie Mercury in Saints Row: Boss Factory
Bringing Freddie up so far has been a pretty easy (and fun) task, so I’m sure others with a little more finesse for things like that will be able to make their characters look much closer to who they were inspired by.
Not that you have to look for someone to inspire you. The opportunity is to make someone as unique as you want.
In another game, I decided to make a freestyle for my boss and put together a, admittedly, rather strange ensemble. But I guess that’s the beauty of these things. There doesn’t have to be a rhyme or a reason for your choice.
See you then alligator. Or is it a crocodile after a while?
Those who want to try Boss Factory can handle it now. Just head to SaintsRow.com or the Xbox, PlayStation or Epic stores to download directly to your console or computer.
