BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Police are investigating a shooting during a party at a warehouse in Boyle Heights on Sunday, in which at least three people were killed and four others were in hospital.

Firefighters and paramedics were sent to Block 3300 on East 14th Street at 12:27 p.m., a Los Angeles fire department said, adding that two people had been pronounced dead at the scene.

Police received a call at 12:29 a.m. from someone who said a friend had been shot at the scene, the Los Angeles Police Department’s media relations department said.

“We don’t have a large number of visitors to the place,” police said. “There seemed to be a party or event going on.”

Arriving officers found three victims of the shooting, and later a fourth at the scene, police said, later confirming that three people had died.

Three of the victims were transported to the hospital on their own, according to investigators.

Los Angeles police have no information at this time, according to Officer Tony Im.
