Sikh shot dead in night club in Toronto, Canada: The Tribune India

A 26-year-old Sikh man has died after being seriously injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Toronto, Canada.

The man has been identified as Pardeep Brar and was staying in Brampton after receiving treatment.

The police reported that a 24-year-old woman was also injured in the incident and has been discharged from the hospital.

Police suspect information pending.

Pardeep Brar was injured early Sunday, along with a 24-year-old woman at 647 King St. W., near Bathurst Street, Toronto police said in a news release Monday.

Officers were called to the scene at 3:33 a.m., cbc.ca reports.

Toronto paramedics took Brar and the woman to hospital. It is not yet clear whether the shooting was targeted or not.
