Snapchat: After Telegram and Twitter, Snapchat is working on a paid subscription feature; will allow users early access to updates

Snap Inc, the parent company of the Snapchat photo messaging platform, is currently testing Snapchat Plus, a paid subscription module that will give users early access to features as well as other tools.

According to reports, the subscription function is currently being tested internally. The news was first announced by a Twitter user named Alessandro Paluzzi, a mobile developer and backup engineer, according to his profile description.

The technology company will charge its users about 4.59 euros per month per subscription. Users can also receive a one-year subscription for € 4.99 once the paid subscription feature is launched.

Earlier, Telegram confirmed that it is working on a premium subscription feature for its users, which is reported to be released this month.

“After thinking for a while, we realized that the only way to allow our most demanding fans to get more, while keeping their existing features free, is to make these increased limits a paid option,” Durov said in a blog post.
