Sony may be ready to announce a new range of gaming headphones, according to a report by 91Mobiles, based on information provided by OnLeaks. Instead of being specifically branded for the PlayStation, such as Sony’s Pulse headphones, the three headphones will apparently be part of a new brand of gaming hardware from Sony called “Inzone”, which may include a pair of gaming displays.
Leaked images show the three so-called H-series headphones with a similar white color scheme to existing Pulse headphones. The H3 is connected by cable and has a USB-C port with a physical volume drive. There is a button marked “NC / AMB” shown in the H3 renderings, which suggests that it can support noise reduction and have an ambient audio mode to allow players to hear what’s going on around them.

Meanwhile, the H7 and H9 are wireless and can be connected via Bluetooth or with a USB key included. The H9 is the premium of the two and reportedly supports noise reduction. All three support 360-degree surround audio. There are no official details on which platforms will support the headphones, but if they are something like Sony’s existing Pulse headphones, then they will probably run on a computer in addition to the PS5. If a separate report is to be believed, these headphones may be part of a wider range of Sony Inzone gaming accessories. Liqueur Tom Henderson says the company may also be developing a pair of Inzone-branded gaming displays. One can have a resolution of 4K and a refresh rate of 144Hz, while the other is reportedly 240Hz, but with a reduced resolution of 1080p. There is no word on screen size, but both will reportedly support HDR, variable refresh rate and other game-focused features. Hopefully, Sony has learned some lessons from the last time it released a standalone display designed specifically for use with a PlayStation console.
There is no word on how much these new headphones and monitors would cost or when they could be released. But Henderson said we could see a message next week.
