A man was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries following a motorcycle accident in West Cornwall this morning (Wednesday, June 15). The road was closed for several hours after the collision on Fore Street, St Just.
Police closed local roads between A3071 and The Star Inn, reopening them at around 1:20 p.m. Emergency teams also arrived at the incident.
Since then, officials have confirmed that one person was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesman for the Devon and Cornwall police said: “Police were called to report a collision of a vehicle involving a motorcycle on the A3071 near St. Just, Penzance, around 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, June 15.
“One person was seriously injured and taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. Local roads were closed, but the road was reopened at around 13.20.”
