Stranger Things shares a video at a glance from season 4, volume 2

Netflix has released a brand new trailer for Stranger Things Series 4 Volume 2.

The streaming service released the two-minute video on its official Twitter page on Tuesday (June 21st) as it shared a first look at the new episodes of the hit series, which is set to premiere next month.

“IT’S TIME,” read the caption. “Stranger Things 4 Vol 2, coming on July 1.”

The goosebumps trailer follows the band as they continue their efforts to stop Vecna and close Upside Down forever, while Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” version of the atmosphere plays slowly in the background.

The trailer features Eleven (Dear Bobby Brown) as she prepares for the battle of her life with Vecna, while Dr. Brenner (played by Matthew Modine) warns Eleven that her friends are not ready for this battle and that “Hawkins will fall “.

“My friends need me,” she replies, only to add Brenner: “You’re not ready.”

Meanwhile, the nervous Mike (Finn Wolfhardt), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Gaton Matarazzo), Max (Sadie Sink) and Will (Noah Schnapp) can be seen preparing to save Hawkins again.

They are also preparing for battle with their friends Robin (Maya Hawk), Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and new fan favorite Eddie (Joseph Quinn).

At a particularly foreboding moment in the trailer, Hawk Robin’s character tells Steve, “It may not work for us this time.”

Adults Jim Hopper (David Harbor), Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Murray (Brett Gelman) also appear briefly – hopefully the individual storylines from season 4 will come together and the band can reunite.

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 will launch on Netflix on July 1 and will consist of two full-length episodes. The penultimate episode is scheduled for 85 minutes, while the finale will be almost two and a half hours.

The remaining episodes will prepare the stage for the fifth season (which will be the last outing for the series), as Hawkins’ gang must come together to defeat the terrifying Vekna (Jamie Campbell-Bauer).

The premiere of season 4 of Stranger Things, part 2, is on July 1, streaming on Netflix.
