UPDATE 3/6/22: Street Fighter 6 will also launch for PC via Steam and the Xbox Series X / S in addition to the PlayStation 4 and 5, now confirming Capcom’s own trailer for the game.
These additional platforms were not initially described in detail during the Sony State of Play broadcast earlier tonight.
Our first correct trailer for Street Fighter 6.
ORIGINAL STORY 2/6/22: Capcom has provided a quick first look at Street Fighter 6, which will launch for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2023.
Today’s footage shows that Jamie, Luke, Chun-Lee and Ryu are part of the series’ trademark urban fists against the backdrop of a very New York style.
For now, we have yet to hear from Capcom whether Street Fighter 6, like its predecessor, will remain an exclusive console for PlayStation.
If you’re not familiar with Luke, he arrived as a DLC for Street Fighter 5 last November. At the time, Capcom called it the “future of Street Fighter” and a “major” part of the next Street Fighter game. Luke is a heavy hitter from the United States and has been likened to Jake Paul by many fans.
