Former President Donald Trump celebrated the reversal of the US Supreme Court in the Rowe case against Wade during a rally in Illinois on Saturday, where he also backed two Republicans.
“The court gave a victory for the Constitution, a victory for the rule of law and, above all, a victory for life,” Trump told a crowd of his supporters at the Adams County Fair in Mendon, citing Friday’s abortion decision.
While in office, Trump appointed judges Neil Gorsuch, Brett Cavanaugh and Amy Connie Barrett, all of whom voted to repeal Rowe against Wade.

“With Mary, you can choose a fearless America’s first patriot,” Trump told the audience. “She’s an amazing woman, a man I know very well. She’s been with me since day one. No bad statements, you know, saying bad things about me two years ago, three years ago, a year ago,” Trump said, adding that she is a “warrior for our movement.”
Miller also applauded the Supreme Court’s recent ruling, calling it a “historic victory.”
