Only one Manchester United player has been named in Gareth Southgate’s last squad for England, which was announced on Tuesday, with only Harry Maguire selected.
Three players who joined the Euro 2020 team last summer received English disdain instead of a hat, Luke Shaw, Jaden Sancho and Marcus Rashford.
Shaw’s exclusion was related to fitness, he is still likely to qualify for the World Cup. The places of Marcus Rashford and Jaden Sancho in the tournament are more uncertain.
In the short term, the exclusion of England from this team is beneficial for the players of Manchester United.

England’s disregard helps the Manchester United trio, which allows them to go straight in to train with Eric ten Haag’s new regime from the first moment.
United will start pre-season training on June 27. But not all players will be present.
Those participating in international matches in June will be delayed by at least a week, as new manager Eric ten Haag explained.
Ten Haag told United’s website: “We will start the pre-season on June 27 and get a few from the team, from the individual players.
“Not all players will come [on 27 June]because those who play internationally will have a longer break, because they play longer this season. “
Sancho, Shaw and Rashford can now contact United at the earliest opportunity.

This gives each of them extra time to learn from Eric ten Haag and his coaching staff and increases the chance to impress and fall in love as key players in the plans of managers.
After shaky seasons, all three players can take advantage of the extra time with the new manager and this disregard for England works in their favor and for the benefit of the team.
This can be important for all stakeholders and work well for their international opportunities. If each of them manages to rediscover their form at the club level, then the English calls for the World Cup will surely follow.
