Kaitlin Armstrong, the Texas woman accused of killing one of the country’s top cyclists in a love triangle, had her sister’s passport on her when law enforcement caught her on an idyllic beach in Costa Rica on Wednesday.
Armstrong, 34, is accused of shooting Anna Moriah “Moe” Wilson, a 25-year-old top professional cyclist who had a romantic relationship with Armstrong’s boyfriend, Colin Strickland. Like Wilson, Strickland, 35, is also a professional cyclist. He has declined multiple requests for comment.
Moments after Strickland dropped Wilson off at a friend’s apartment in Austin after a night out on May 11, Armstrong’s SUV appeared on a neighbor’s surveillance video, according to an arrest warrant. Authorities later said they found Wilson inside with multiple gunshot wounds and spent shell casings fired from a gun that police later found in the home Armstrong shared with Strickland.
The alleged killer spent 43 days in jail before authorities tracked her down to a hostel on the Pacific Ocean.

Harris County Jail records show Armstrong arrived Sunday charged with manslaughter in Wilson’s death and theft of services for allegedly bilking her out of money at a Botox clinic years ago.
Her bond was set at more than $3.5 million, and she also faces a federal charge of fleeing to avoid prosecution.
Authorities captured the alleged Botox bandit, also a yoga teacher, last week at a beach hostel in Santa Teresa, a secluded haven for surfers, yogis and tourists.
According to images obtained by Inside Edition, which sent a news crew to Costa Rica after the arrest, she arrived there with two passports, hers and her sister’s. The documents were reportedly left in a cupboard after her arrest.

Deputy US Marshal Brandon Fila told Fox News Digital last Friday that Armstrong fraudulently used someone else’s valid passport to fly from Newark Liberty International Airport to San Jose, Costa Rica, on May 18. He declined to say whose passport she used.

Images on social media show the sisters share a striking resemblance and appear to have been close.
Armstrong also visited his sister at a campsite in upstate New York before news of Wilson’s killing made national headlines, according to a man there who told Fox News Digital last month that she had been coming and going before for law enforcement to arrive, following her trail.
Her sister, Christine Armstrong, did not respond to messages seeking comment — nor has she been charged with a crime.

Inside Edition also found a purported cosmetic surgery receipt written as a bill of sale and addressed to whom it “may concern” and claims she paid “$6,350 in cash.”
The outpatient and cosmetic surgery clinic named in the document told Fox News Digital Monday, “We don’t have that information.”

Marshals said last week that they arrested Armstrong with her face bandaged and that she claimed she had injured herself in a surfing accident.

But her most recent booking photo in Harris County, Texas, appears to show her with a narrower nose. She also dyed her hair and cut it to shoulder length, according to authorities.
