The twisted killer Salvador Ramos played sad music during his massacre in Texas – which began when he said goodnight to a teacher before shooting her, recalls a surviving student in a painful new interview.
Mia Serilo, a fast-thinking 11-year-old who smeared herself with the blood of her murdered friend to play dead, revealed chilling details from Tuesday’s massacre at Rob Elementary School in Uwalde.
She told CNN that her fourth-grade class had just finished watching the Disney movie “Lilo & Stitch” on Tuesday morning, when their two teachers received a signal for an active shooter.
One of the teachers is racing to lock the door of his classroom – but 18-year-old Ramos was already there and made his way by shooting through the door window, the injured girl revealed in an off-camera interview.
Serilo saw Ramos support the teacher in the room and deliberately make eye contact with her – before saying “Good night” and blowing her to death, she said online.
She did not identify which of the two teachers killed – Irma Garcia, 46, and Eva Mireles, 44 – was shot first.
But Ramos quickly killed the other educator, as well as many of the 19 children he would kill, said Serilo, who was also injured by fragments that hit her head, shoulders and back.

After the initial wave of shots, Ramos headed for the next classroom, as Cerrillo heard screams as more of her friends were slaughtered.
That’s when Ramos started playing loud, sad music, she said, describing it to CNN as “I Want People to Die.”
While he was in the next room, Serilo put his hand in the blood that was pouring from one of her murdered friends, rubbing it on himself to make her look dead, she said.

Meanwhile, Serilo and a friend also snatched a phone belonging to one of their dead teachers to make a desperate call to 911, one of several who stormed the school during the massacre.
She told CNN that she asked the dispatcher: “Please come, please come – we are in trouble!
The brave young man then lay motionless – reportedly on his slain friend to look more convincing – for more than an hour before police finally stormed in and shot Ramos.

The ordeal was so excruciating that the young man was convinced she had been caught there unassisted for at least three hours, her family said.
The young man cried as he talked about the delay in the response of the cops – which has since caused public outrage after alarming videos appeared showing parents begging cops outside to invade the classroom, CNN reported.
It took police until Friday – three days after the massacre – to finally admit that they had “made the wrong decision” by waiting so long to break into the room and save the students.

Serilo’s mother told CNN she has already named her daughter her “miracle baby” because she survived a tummy tuck that doctors predicted would kill her soon after birth.
She almost managed to escape the injury on Tuesday – she missed school in the morning due to ear pain.
Her mother offered to keep her out of school all day, she said. But the young man wanted to see his friends – many of them she saw died before her eyes just an hour after she returned to class.

She is now “extremely traumatized”, unable to sleep and falling in locks of hair, CNN said. Online fundraising to pay for therapy by Friday raised $ 199,000 – almost 20 times the $ 10,000 target.
The brave young man was too horrified to talk in front of a camera or a male reporter, but “he wanted to share his story so people could know what it’s like to experience a shooting at school” and hopefully “help prevent such a shooting.” a tragedy for other children, “he told CNN.
