A male body was found in a car that passed over a rock. All emergency services arrived at the scene in western Cornwall.
Police say the family of the missing Richard Mokford has been notified. He is wanted after a 60-year-old man disappeared from the Penzance area on Friday (June 10th). The search was expanded and more photos of Richard and one of his cars were released yesterday as fears about his well-being increased.
Devon and Cornwall police have now confirmed that the body was found after they were called to Pendine, near the lighthouse, around 2 p.m. A spokesman said: “Police were called shortly before 2pm today, Sunday, June 12, with reports of a vehicle being located at the bottom of Pendeen Cliff in the Pendeen Lighthouse area.
