News release issued by Sault Ste. The Marie Police Service reports that the community mobilization department visited the former Al’s Corner pub, located at 196 James Street, to take people out of the building.
The request was submitted by a contractor who later secured the building.
“Officers cleaned the building without incident, as no one was in the building at the time they were present,” the statement said.
