A drunken mother went straight to the pub for a mug after escaping from prison for a drunken obscene tirade against the police.
Amy Newell, 30, of Bootle, was seen panting before drinking a mug of camp after her lawyer persuaded a judge to release her, claiming she was “sorry” for her behavior and refused to drink. Newell was arrested in March after making a homophobic statement against a police officer while being taken to a police station.
The mother then abused every other police officer when she was about to be placed in cells. During his rampage, Newell hit his head with the clear plastic perspective of a police van and spat on the floor, telling a computer, “I’m going to break your head, you fucking grass, you fucking bastard bastard. You’re damn dead. ”

Investigations revealed that she had a number of previous convictions and had previously been in prison for assaulting a police officer. She was sentenced to six months in prison by a Sefton Magistrates’ Court after pleading guilty to two counts of using threats, insulting, insulting words or behavior to raise concerns about harassment or suffering.
But she received an 18-month social order, including a six-month alcohol rehabilitation program, after saying she had “many problems” and was being treated for heavy drinking. Prosecutors say that because of her background and the fact that she was drunk at the time and the abuse was homophobic, there should be a “lifting” of her sentence.
Later, after her court party, Newell was seen drinking with friends in front of the Merton Inn just across the street. The incident happened on March 11 at 5.50 pm, when the officers warned and arrested the defendant for unrelated things.
Well, prosecutor Gouldson said: “Because of her aggressive behavior, a caged vehicle was requested. When she entered, she started threatening and hitting the transparent plastic perspective with her head. “
Miss Gouldson said the abuse continued after the defendant noticed that the officer was wearing a silver wedding ring.

The prosecutor said Newell had been arrested and warned of homophobic violence. After arriving at the St. Anne Police Station, she continued to rape herself.
Miss Gouldson said: “She was insulting to all the officers. She called Officer Maddox [homophobic slur]. She was warned and arrested again. “
Newell has 19 crimes in her record, including a breach of public order since May last year and aggravation of racial or religious affiliation.
She was last tried in March for drunkenness and disorder and criminal damage, and before that she was in prison or burglary.
In mitigating responsibility for Newell, attorney Rory McCormack said: “What may be important is that after the accused sobered up in her cells, she apologized to the police. She really expresses remorse and is very sorry for her actions when the alcohol disappeared. “
Mr McCormack told the court that Newell had been abusing drinks regularly for a long time, to the point that she had been hospitalized for seizures.
He added: “She has now been prescribed Librium for alcohol dependence and it is rumored that she will be given a place in the detox ward. She tells me that she is cooperating with probation as much as she can, given her many problems. “
“She is working with addiction support services and is optimistic that she will continue to work with different services. Closing it now would be just a step back, not a step forward.
“You can feel with regard to her file and her rise that the issue has crossed the threshold of detention, but if the court comes to this particular conclusion, my suggestion is that she should impose an immediate sentence of imprisonment only if no alternative is available. with the many problems it has. In fact, this is her last chance. “
Newell was also fined £ 100 and ordered to pay £ 200 in compensation plus £ 180 in costs and an additional victim fee.
District Judge James Clark said: “These crimes were aggravated by the fact that you were drunk, your previous sentence for aggravated racial or religious affiliation, and a suspended sentence of assault on a police officer who was violated. However, I note your apology to the police, your remorse and the steps you have taken to deal with your alcohol problems.
“Although you say you have abstained from alcohol since May, the requirement for alcohol rehabilitation will complement the work of the support service meetings and prescription drugs. This is an opportunity. If you throw this away, you are only yourself.
