Work has begun on the KLO bridge

The work teams have started the process of removing the debris under the KLO bridge and the traffic is subject to periodic closure due to work.
Sarah Fuller shared a photo of the lag and said she had been waiting 25 minutes, “periodically closing to retrieve debris.” We are currently waiting for about 25 minutes. The time now is 12:30. Aaaa Spring in BC ”

It seems like KLO Bridge is having some problems due to the high flow as the rain continues to rain.
The video sent by the viewer shows several pieces of debris, including large sticks and branches clogging a section under the bridge.
The water level in the river seems to be a few centimeters from reaching the bridge.
The River Forecasting Center on Monday issued high-flow warnings across Okanagan, the Border and Similcamin, with similar advice remaining for the Thompson region and the entire Fraser River corridor from Queensnele to the South Pacific.
The Central Emergency Service reminds residents to beware of fast-moving streams and streams.
