According to police, the license of a restaurant in downtown Northampton, which has repeatedly served underage customers and caused noise, has been revoked.
An exotic kitchen in Abington Square was the subject of a licensing hearing earlier this month following a review initiated by the Northamptonshire Police Licensing Team, following numerous complaints from police officers and members of the public, Northamptonshire Police said.
A spokesman said: “Members have heard from a man who lives with his young son near the place and has been regularly disturbed by loud music and anti-social behavior stemming from the room.

“The noise made his son sleep deprived and as a result it affected his school work.
“The man went on to say that he knew at least two people who had left the apartments because of the noise emitted by the restaurant late at night.
The court also found that there were no guards on duty at the SIA door and that the minors were regularly served alcohol, police said. This included a young woman who would report an attack. Investigations also found that a 17-year-old girl was hired to work behind a bar serving alcoholic beverages in the late hours of shopping.
License Sergeant Simon Morton said: “First of all, I would like to thank PC Sandy Tracey for this review – her hard work has led us to this result.
“This place showed complete disregard for the terms of their license and instead allowed the premises to become a hotbed of anti-social behavior and crime.
“Licenses are introduced for some reason, and when the terms of the license are violated, it is important for us to act, because there will be many major problems that need to be addressed.
“I am glad that the license has been revoked in this case, and I want to assure the public that we will continue to do everything possible together with our partners to deal appropriately with similar license violations in the future.”
