PC Party is concerned about the proposed fuel tax increases.
The party says legislation to add more fuel taxes was introduced in the House of Commons yesterday.
“Enough is enough,” interim leader David Brazil told Prime Minister Andrew Fury in the legislature.
He says his party hears from people every day who can’t afford to make ends meet and will do “anything” to block the increase in the carbon tax.
Fury says the government is taking an evidence-based approach different from the past. The prime minister said the government was doing a good job, but Brazil opposed “the people of Newfoundland and Labrador will argue and think differently.”
