PITTSBURG – Minka Fitzpatrick begins her summer vacation with a nice payday after concluding a deal to become the highest paid security in the NFL.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and their stellar safety have agreed to a four-year extension that will pay Fitzpatrick more than $ 18.4 million a year, WME Sports, Fitzpatrick’s agency, confirmed to ESPN’s Adam Shefter on Wednesday.
Fitzpatrick also received a $ 36 million guarantee at the signing, Scheffer confirmed.

The deal, the first major deal negotiated by Pittsburgh’s new general manager Omar Khan, is ahead of Jamal Adams’ deal for $ 17.5 million a year.
