The long-awaited Red Arrows pass over Southampton has been canceled due to bad weather.
Lack of visibility prevents the plane from soaring into the sky.
As a result, all afternoon exhibitions have been canceled, organizers confirmed.
The Red Arrows were to rise above the docks of Southampton at 16:35 – just minutes after taking off from Exeter.
The announcement comes after demonstrations in Torbay and Chinook were also canceled this morning due to low clouds.

In a series of tweets, a spokesman for the English Riviera air show said “visibility is simply not needed” for the plane to fly safely.
They added: “We really wanted to offer you a few flights today and we had special teams that pay a lot of attention to the conditions to find a time gap so we can do it, but unfortunately it just wasn’t possible.”
It is with sadness and regret that we announce that there will be no flying displays this afternoon.
Although the weather is improving here in Paignton, it is not there in Exeter and simply does not have the necessary visibility to ensure safe displays.

Despite the disappointing news, hundreds of people flocked to Mayflower Park for the Great Platinum Festival.
Street parties and tea parties are still held throughout the city.
