The Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge have released heartfelt family photos over the centuries to mark Father’s Day.
William posted a photo of himself shining and surrounded by his children on holiday in the Middle East, while the Queen and Charles shared old photos via their official Twitter accounts.
Kensington Palace said the photo of the duke was taken in Jordan in the autumn of 2021, and the family is depicted with a rocky background in the color of sand.
It shows a smiling William with arms around Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, seven, while four-year-old Prince Louis sits on his shoulders.
All the children have cheeky smiles.
The duke and his eldest son are dressed in khaki casual clothes, and the younger children are dressed in navy blue and white tops.
Meanwhile, the royal family’s official Twitter account shared a photo of a young queen smiling while standing in a garden opposite her father, King George VI, in 1946.
The monarch wears a long summer dress with patterns, while her father, who died in 1952, wears a suit and tie.
The photo was shared with the words: “We wish all our followers a very happy Father’s Day.”
Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, shared three family photos with the words: “I wish everyone a very happy Father’s Day.”
The first is a black-and-white image of the prince in high spirits with his father, the Duke of Edinburgh.
They are wearing military uniforms, and Charles looks sideways at grinning Philip.
A second image shows Charles wearing knee-high red stockings and a kilt lying on a lawn, with William and Harry as children.
Young William is dressed in a white shirt and wraps his arm around his father while Harry wears a green sweater and matching green coats while leaning on Charles.
Another image shows Camilla joining hands with her father, Major Bruce Shand, at Clarence House.
They are dressed formally, with the smiling duchess in a long jacket with gold patterns and a hat, and her father, who looks more serious, wears a suit with a vest in a sand color.
In the photo of Kate and William, the children look in high spirits, reminiscent of Louis’s naughty antics during the Platinum Jubilee Competition, which won the hearts of the nation.
The young prince pulls faces as he sits on his family’s lap to watch the show.
He howled and clapped his hands on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the spring of the RAF on Thursday, June 2, while his Gan Gan, the queen, told him what was happening.
Cambridge also used a photo from Jordan for its official Christmas card 2021.
The image shows William sitting on a gold pouf next to Kate, with his two eldest children next to them, while Lewis was sitting on what looked like a sheepskin rug at his mother’s feet.
