The latest teaser of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was mysterious, but at least it showed the main characters in the game through several new posters. Activision has released another teaser and although there is still no gameplay, it shows live versions of the same characters and confirms the date of its full unveiling of the game.

The teaser is quite short and draped in the shadows, giving only short jokes to the main team on their way to battle. He then released the slogan “The Ultimate Weapon is Team” before confirming the game’s unveiling on June 8 (which will begin at 10 a.m. PT). The date was strongly hinted at in the last teaser with an unassuming “J-8-22” draped over a piece of the environment. The date was also the one worn by insiders.
June 8 is the day before Summer Game Fest Live, which means it gets its own event. It is unclear how long the event will be or what regimes will be discussed.

Steam also seemingly confirmed the return of Call of Duty on the platform. The official quote from Steam’s Twitter account tweeted the message with emoji with eyes, strongly hinting that the series of shooters will make its way back to the digital computer market. Steam has not had the last four Call of Duty titles, with the 2017 WWII being the last to appear in Valve’s computer store. It wasn’t a big secret, as users discovered Modern Warfare 2 on Steam earlier this week.
