HOUSTON, July 10 (Reuters) – The Electric Reliability Board of Texas (ERCOT), which manages the Texas state power grid, warned on Sunday of potential power outages on Monday.
The state faces a “potential shortage of backup capacity with no market-based solution available,” ERCOT said in an operational notice posted on its website. Record temperatures are expected across much of the state on Monday.
