The United Kingdom could be “submerged in the sea” and turned into a “radioactive wasteland” amid support for Ukraine, a Russian state propagandist has warned.
Dmitry Kiselyov, who has been called Vladimir Putin’s “chief propagandist”, has made chilling remarks on Russian state television.
He claims that Russia could hit the United Kingdom with its hypersonic missile known as Satan-2.
This will be followed by an attack by an “underwater robot drone” known as Poseidon.

The weapon is expected to send a giant tsunami on the way to the United Kingdom, which will leave the country in a “radioactive wasteland”, writes the Mirror.
The threats came after Russian media falsely claimed that Boris Johnson had threatened the Kremlin with a nuclear strike.
Kiselyov said in his program “Sunday News”: “What will happen after the words of Boris Johnson for a retaliatory strike on Russia?
“Why are they threatening huge Russia with nuclear weapons when they are just a small island? The island is so small that one Sarmat missile is enough to drown it once and for all.

“The Russian Sarmat rocket [aka Satan-2]the most powerful in the world … is capable of … destroying an area the size of Texas or England.
“One shot, Boris, and England is gone. Once and for all. Why play games? “
Kiselyov, who was reportedly eagerly watched by Putin along with another outspoken propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov, added: “Another option for sinking Britain into the depths of the sea is Russia’s Poseidon submarine robotic drone.”
“Approaching the target at a depth of one kilometer at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour [125mph]. There is no way to stop this underwater drone.
“It has a warhead with a capacity of up to 100 megatons.
“The explosion of this thermonuclear torpedo off the coast of Britain will raise a giant wave, tsunami, up to 500 meters [1,640ft] High.
“This tidal wave also carries extremely high doses of radiation.
“Rising over Britain will probably turn what is left of them into a radioactive desert, forever useless for nothing.
Last week, Downing Street dismissed its apparent upcoming strike against Russia as “another example of disinformation spread by the Kremlin.”
The Satan-2 hypersonic 208-ton intercontinental ballistic missile Sarmat has a speed of 15,880 miles per hour, and the Kremlin leader says it is “unstoppable.”
“Poseidon” – prepared for service – is described as a giant torpedo with nuclear capability.
Details of its 125 mph high-speed underwater propulsion system with a nuclear-powered underwater drone are considered top secret.
Putin boasted that he had “unlimited scope” and said three years ago: “Work is going according to plan.”
Dmitry Rogozin, head of Russia’s Roscosmos space agency, said last week: “Boris, if you use Sarmat, neither of you will consult with each other.
“And there will be no one to style your hair, Prime Minister.”
