Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey pays her respects to the funeral

Kelsey Parker talks about how she held Tom’s hand when he died, when it first opened after his death.

The 32-year-old remembers being “beautiful to the end” and said he “did not feel any pain”.

The Wanted singer Tom tragically died at the age of 33 in March, 18 months after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Kelsey, who is the mother of two children with Tom, told about her last hours at the hospice and how they shared their last kiss.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, she said: “It was still beautiful until the very end. It was just us and there was so much love in this room.”

Crying, Kelsey said she had slept with him and that they had been together for two hours because she just wanted that moment with him.

“I didn’t want anyone to come in,” she said. “We needed that time together to talk.”

Kelsey described him as “romantic” even though they were together in a hospice, and said that Tom had always been “so romantic, loving and caring.”

Recalling the last conversation she had with Tom, Kelsey said, “I said, ‘You know, Tom, I’ll be fine, the kids will be fine. I will make sure that everything you want them to know, the things you have taught me over the years, I promise to teach them everything.

He said, “I know you’re going to be fine.” Then he took off his wedding ring and put it on my finger. “

Kelsey recently shared a touching photo of her daughter Aurelia holding a feather on Instagram when she said “Daddy’s coming to visit.”

She revealed that Tom had promised to send her signs every day before she died.

The mother remembers sitting on a bench crying when a feather fell from the sky.

Kelsey said, “I told Tom before he died, ‘Are you going to give me signs every day,’ and he said yes?” I knew immediately that it was him.

“I kept this pen, I still have it in a small glass pot on my dresser.

This comes after Kelsey shared an emotional poem in her Instagram stories last week after her husband’s funeral.

She said, “Grief may feel like the death of the soul while the body is still alive, but you are alive, my friend.

“And they are not, nor do they want to be with them yet. They really want you to live. ”

The poem continues: “Don’t be afraid of the pain you are experiencing, it’s just a love to fight, to look for a place to go. So let him go somewhere. ”

At the end of the post, it was written that the poem was called “I Wish I Knew” by Donna Ashworth.

Tom’s funeral took place on April 20 at St Francis Church of Assisi in Pats Wood, south-east London.

Fans were invited to line the streets and greeted outside the church as the service took place on screens.

Tom’s The Wanted partners Max George, Gray Kaneshwaran, Nathan Sykes and Jay McGuinness were the bearers of the tomb.

His touching funeral song is reportedly Oasis’s Live Forever, which is said to be playing while he was dying, surrounded by friends and family.

In a pre-recorded praise of the ministry that left the flock in tears, Kelsey called Tom her “soul mate” and said he had “taught his children how to be brave.”

She added that the boy’s star would still be alive today, “if only love could save him.”
