A possible tornado warning has been issued for Paintert County #18 by Alberta Emergency Warning.
According to the AEA website, the critical alert was triggered by a “rotating severe thunderstorm possibly producing a tornado.”
“The storm is located 15 kilometers east of Castor and moving southeast at 40 km/h,” the website said.

People were advised to seek shelter in a basement or fortified structure.
