Toronto Maple Leafs striker Austin Matthews receives Hart Trophy and Ted Lindsay Award

TAMPA, FL – Toronto Maple Leafs striker Austin Matthews received the Hart Trophy as NHL’s Most Valuable Player and the Ted Lindsay Award as NHLPA’s Most Outstanding Player at the NHL Awards on Tuesday night.

He set a record for the Maple Leafs franchise and a one-season record for the most goals scored by an American-born player.
