The start of the week in Toronto will be hot and humid.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather declaration for the city and surrounding areas for the “first hot event of the season”.
The Federal Meteorological Agency says temperatures will hover around 30 C on Monday and Tuesday. He noted that the areas along the lake would be cooler.
“These conditions pose a health risk when you are not used to the heat,” said Environment Canada in its consultation. “Everyone is at risk of heat, especially the elderly; babies and young children; and people with chronic diseases. “
Relief from the heat will come on Wednesday, as cooler air is expected to arrive on the first day of June.
It will be a mixture of sun and cloud with a 60 percent chance of precipitation. The maximum temperature will be 26 degrees.
On Thursday, people who go to the polls to vote must expect a mixture of sun and clouds and a maximum of 21 C. Sunny conditions will continue on Friday with a maximum of 19 C.
