Tottenham may need to call up a talented squad member if they are to convince Everton to part ways with Anthony Gordon this summer. Interest from Spurs has been reported over the past few weeks, but with Newcastle United also in on the action, an attractive swap deal may be needed to beat the Magpies. Express Sport looks at four players who could appeal to Frank Lampard…
Harry Winks
Everton’s interest in Winks was reported by Sky Sports, among others, as Lampard eyed the former England international to bolster their midfield ranks. Spurs were said to have wanted to include Winks as part of their deal for Richarlison, but the Toffees were in dire need of cash and decided to push for the maximum fee instead.
With their finances more stable after winning Richarlison, the Caramels may soon return to the idea of facing the Winx ahead of the new season. Antonio Conte has already signed two new midfielders in his first 12 months in charge, with Yves Bissuma and Rodrigo Bentancourt set to leave Winks starved of game time in north London.

Lucas Moura
The arrival of Dejan Kulusevski in January made life difficult for the Brazilian, and the Anthony Gordon deal could only increase the competition for minutes. Spurs are said to want to keep Moura to see out the final year of his contract, with rotation options needed in the cup and Champions League competitions.
But losing him to help grease the wheels in their push for Gordon could be seen as a necessary evil by Conte, who needs home-grown players to enforce team rules. Moura has the speed and trickery to delight the fans at Goodison Park, but his goal threat often leaves a lot to be desired, with just five to his name in the last two Premier League campaigns.
Brian Gill
What better way for Everton to deal with the impending departure of an exciting, young winger than to immediately welcome another exciting, young winger. Brian Gill arrived at Spurs with a big reputation after rising through the ranks with Sevilla but has yet to be given a further opportunity in north London.
There has been talk of another loan move to Spain this summer, with Conte having plenty of options, but Everton could look to include Gill in talks for Gordon if they like what they’ve seen so far. That would, of course, be a huge gamble considering the 21-year-old made just nine league appearances during his debut season in England’s top flight.
