Travelers have called for precautions to be taken in cases of monkeypox outbreaks

The Public Health Agency of Canada has issued a travel warning, urging Canadians to be especially vigilant if they attend large parties or mass gatherings.

The Health Agency has issued a second-level health notice for travel to several countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain and Germany.

Smallpox can cause symptoms such as fever, headache and muscle aches and skin lesions.

Although it can be fatal, it is often not.
