Travis Scott’s team is up against the creators of a documentary that targets the tragic events of the Astroworld music festival … calling it a pathetic money-grabbing.
“The Propaganda Work,” as Scott’s representatives called it, is called “Concert Crush: The Travis Scott Festival Tragedy” and began airing in Texas on Friday.
The film’s director Charlie Min told the AP that the project is not intended to be a hit against Travis, but rather to tell the story of the destruction of that day.
It is clear that this is not what Travis’ team thinks, calling it “… a farce funded by and containing content from members of the plaintiff’s legal team who, weeks after the tragedy, tried to exploit and take advantage of it financially, with clear goals for making money and influencing future juries and public opinion. “

Minn was critical of Travis’ actions at the festival in the past, telling the Houston Press: “I think he would be much more nervous if he didn’t know the mayor and the police chief. The police had all the power to stop things and the show had to be stopped by the third song. It was a dangerous, bad joke. “
The documentary includes several concertgoers from that day, with most accusing Travis of not seeing what was going on in the crowd.
TMZ revealed the story, several Houston police officers were spotted watching Travis and Drake’s performance as things got worse in the crowd – apparently unaware of the seriousness of what was happening.

As we reported, 10 people died of “compression asphyxia” as a result of the events in Astroworld. The investigation continues into who or what is responsible for the death … but several lawsuits have pointed the finger at Travis and the Live Nation promoter.
Travis has not performed on the big stage since, but is expected to head Primavera Sound and numerous festivals in the United States – to be announced – next year.
