Tribute to the teenagers who died in the Swansea crash

The devastated families of two teenagers who died when the car they were in crashed near a garage in Swansea paid tribute to their “loving” and “caring” children. South Wales police say Caitlin Davis and Ben Rodgers, both 19, died in a crash in Northway Garridge, Bishopston, on Tuesday (May 31st).

Their families thanked everyone for the messages of support they received after the crash. Paying tribute to Caitlin, who was from Swansea, Swansea, her family said, “Caitlin, our bright, radiant, kind, caring girl, your smile was brighter than the sun and illuminated every room you entered.

“To say we are devastated is not close, he was so loved by everyone you met. We have been there all your life and now the memories we have created will have to last us until the end of ours. We are struck by the outpouring of love that has been shown to us, but now ask for our privacy to be respected. “

Ben was from Bonimayen, Swansea and his family said Ben was an amazing, smart, talkative, and witty young man. There was always a smile on his face that always illuminated the room when he entered. He was such a loving and caring person who had time to talk to anyone who would listen, which explains why he had so many friends.

“He always offers support to anyone who needs it. It would be fair to say that he lived life indefinitely and squeezed every possible gram of pleasure out of him. The loss of Ben had a profound effect on all of us, and to be honest, we are all still numb with shock, as the weight of what happened has not really sunk.

“Ben was our son and he was deeply loved by the whole family and he will miss her beyond words. Some of our hearts are broken, but we will do everything we can to keep his memory alive forever. We would like to thank everyone for all their kind words of love and support, which we all received with gratitude. Finally, we would like to thank all the emergency services and the public at the scene who did their best in difficult circumstances. “
