Two are charged with second-degree murder in the Grand Bend, piercing death

Two men from Stratford have been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 27-year-old man who was stabbed in the Grand Band, the Lambton OPP reported.

Exeter, Zachary Hartman, 27, was attacked in a parking lot on Huron Street around 10 pm on Friday, police said. He died at the hospital.

Lambton OPP and Kishtle Point police officers who responded to the attack provided information about a suspected vehicle to nearby counties, police said.

Perth County OPP officials later arrested three people.

Michael Compton, 18, and Evan Radtke, 22, both from Stratford, are charged with second-degree murder.

Madison Hicks, 21, of West Perth, has been charged with complicity in the murder.

The defendants have been remanded in custody pending a bail hearing, and the murder investigation is ongoing, police said.
