Two people died in a crash of four cars on the Queen’s Line

Two people were killed in a crash of four Queen’s Line cars on Dylan Road at around 7pm on Friday, Chatham-Kent police said.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that a 27-year-old man from Windsor was traveling east on the Queen’s Line when his vehicle collided with a pickup truck traveling west on the Queen’s Line, police said.

The man’s vehicle then collided with an older Buick model, which had five passengers and was driving directly behind the pickup, police said.

Two Buick passengers have been pronounced dead on the spot, police said.

Out of respect for the families, the names of the two victims will not be announced at the moment, the police announced.

All other residents involved were transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A fourth vehicle was indirectly involved as it veered off the road to avoid an accident, police said.
