Police say two people were killed and three were injured in a night shooting at a bar in Oshawa, Ont.
Durham Regional Police said the incident happened Saturday around 12:45 a.m. at the BLVD restaurant and bar located at 1812 Simcoe Street North.
Officers were sent to the area after reports of gunshots. When they arrived on the scene, they identified five victims with gunshot wounds.
Police said a man was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A second man was transported to a trauma center in Toronto in critical condition and he also died from his injuries.
The three remaining victims were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and were released.
Police said they were talking to witnesses and planned to give a description of the suspect when it became available.
The Durham Homicide Squad is currently investigating the incident and calling on all witnesses with video or information to come out.
