One person was taken into custody and two people were sent to the hospital after a brazen public shooting at the scene of a hit-and-run on Williams Lake Sunday afternoon.
According to RCMP, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of the standoff located in the 800 block of Mackenzie Ave. South.

“Two people suffering from unspecified injuries were taken to a local hospital and one suspect was taken into custody,” Sgt. Chris Clark said.
“Preliminary information suggests that this incident was targeted and no additional risk to the public remains.”
