LINCOLN, Nebraska (KLKN) – Two people were found dead and another wounded Sunday morning, according to Lincoln police.
Authorities said a man called 911 shortly before 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning to say he had been shot. When police arrived, they found two victims dead in a home near 30th Street and P.
The LPD says a third victim of the shooting arrived at a local hospital shortly after the initial call. Authorities say he is in serious but stable condition.
LPD investigators are working to determine if the shootings were linked.
There are currently no suspects in custody.
There are currently on-site inspectors.
It comes just 24 hours after three people were shot dead in downtown Lincoln and just days after the city celebrated its first murder in 2022.
Officers are investigating a shooting in the 30th & P St. A man called 911 at 2:20 a.m. and reported being shot. Officers found two victims in the apartment. They both died.
